I love technology! I have always been fascinated by the new and best thing. But as I work in my stained glass class I am realizing that sometimes using the internet as a resource is not always the best idea. For the current assignment we are making abstract symmetrical windows. For this assignment I’m not recommending that students use the internet as a resource. For one, this is a beginning art class and students need to learn basic skills to be able to create their own unique design. Secondly, the design should be abstract and when students see cools designs online that are suns and flowers and names they always want to try and mimic those shapes.
